I thought I would share a little about one of my favorite genres horror. I love horror books and have since I was old enough to understand the real story behind the horror. I was a child long before the Goosebumps Series was a popular reading material for youth. I am fairly sure that the first horror book I read was Comes the Blind Fury by John Saul, from then on I was hooked.
My favorites include:
Stephen KingAnne Rice
Clive Barker
Dean Koontz
Joe Hill
Peter Straub
and many, many more.
Hint, if there are any horror authors out there looking for a reviewer, just follow the information in the sidebar. Not joking either :)

I definitely agree on the authors. I wasn't impressed with John Saul's newest novel, but I think he's still a great author.
How ‘kewl’ to find someone else who enjoys ‘horror’ … I’ve been a Stephen King and Dean Koontz fan for DECADES … loved GHOST STORY by Peter Straub but never found any of his other works compelling. Clive Barker robs me of sleep … but I do enjoy Anne Rice always. I’m not sure I’ve read anything by Joe Hill, but perhaps I’ll browse the shelves next time I visit my local used Book Pusher ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
A woman after my own heart. Horror has always been my favorite genre, and always will be. Keep me in mind if you have any to recommend and I will do the same:) Seeing as how we live so close, maybe we can do a book swap someday...or meet for a book club...or something, lol!
